Still have a question? Fill out the form below and I will get back to you ASAP!
Do you accept insurance?
No, I only work with private pay clients. Upon request, I can provide you with superbills for you to submit to your insurance.
How much does therapy cost?
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, credit card, health savings account, Paypal and Square.
What if I cannot afford therapy?
I believe that therapy should be accessible to all. I offer reduced rates for individuals not financially able to pay full price. Please contact me for further details.
How long is each session?
How frequently is therapy?
My most “successful” clients (those who see the most change in the shortest amount of time) schedule weekly for about three-five sessions before reevaluating. There are several factors to take into consideration when planning the duration and frequency of therapy. We work together to find the best option for your unique situation and circumstances.
What if I can’t make or I miss my session?
Life happens, things come up unexpectedly, we get sick and the weather is especially unpredictable in Colorado! I understand. I ask that you please notify me as soon as you know you will not make a session. If you cancel and reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, there is no penalty. If you cancel in less than 24 hours, you will be charged after the second time. (Everyone receives one free mulligan.) More information is available in my disclosure statement and policies.
Therapy for you!
How do I know if therapy is right for me? Who goes to therapy?
Everyone can benefit from counseling/therapy. Most people seek out therapy because CHANGE is needed or wanted. Or perhaps you would like an unbiased and fresh perspective on your situation. If you feel stuck or are experiencing negative symptoms in your life, talking to a mental health professional is the first step in addressing your mental wellness needs. In therapy, you should feel respected, supported and comfortable. You are your best advocate in finding a mental health professional who you feel you will connect with.
How do I get in touch with you?
Call, text, email or fill out the form under contacts/locations to get in touch with me. Our first step is to schedule a free phone consultation.
What does the phone consultation entail?
The phone consultation is a complimentary 30 min. conversation in which we decide if we are a good fit before scheduling the initial session. The purpose of the phone consultation is to get to know each other a little bit, for you to ask me questions, get to know more about my practice and see what it would be like to work with me. I will briefly ask about your current symptoms, needs and goals to ensure that I am able to help you. In the case that I do not believe I am the best fit, I can refer you to a more specialized mental health provider.
I need a mental health disorder to see a therapist or counselor.
My job, employer or family will find out I went to counseling.
I will be put on medication.
