A Mindful Approach
Therapy is a sacred space. It is a gift that we can give ourselves no matter the suffering we have or are experiencing. It is time we set aside to get in touch with our thoughts, feelings and actions.
I am an integrative therapist and use a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based interventions to help guide therapy. As a counselor, I am aware of the privilege it is to listen to your story. I am not here to judge you, rather to listen.
Mental Wellness
Too often we hear about mental illness portrayed with a negative bias. Why not celebrate and spread mental wellness? The stigma is dissipating and now more than ever, diverse individuals are benefitting from the therapeutic outcomes of counseling. I am a passionate advocate for mental wellness and my life’s goal is to bring attention to mental health in a more positive way.
How I see it
Therapy is cultivating awareness in our life.
Therapy is understanding what we can and cannot control and letting go of what no longer serves us.

Who I work with
One of my favorite aspects about my work is learning and growing with diverse individuals: creators, developers, educators, leaders and dreamers. I focus on bringing attention to the present moment. I work with unique individuals who are seeking therapy because change is needed. An ideal client is someone who is willing to show up and put time and energy into doing the work, even when things get challenging. I help you lean in to the areas of your life needing improvement by offering unconditional positive regard coupled with mindful self-compassion practices.
How It Works
The first step is realizing that you are not alone and many healthy people seek counseling! You know yourself better than anyone, trust your gut, especially when you feel off. Whether you feel stuck, are experiencing covid fatigue, want to talk to someone while experiencing a life transition or feel that an area of your life needs insight, growth or change, that is an indication talking to a mental health provider could be a beneficial next step.
